The Cain cigar is the newest creation by Sam Leccia, creator of the Oliva NUB cigar. Through trial and error, Sam Leccia has created a cigar that is straight ligero from the 3 major tobacco-growing regions in Nicaragua, Esteli, Condega & Jalapa. Ligero is the top portion of the tobacco plant. It receives the most sun and in turn yields a tobacco leaf with bold, robust flavor. Fermentation is where the real magic begins with the Cain Cigar. After curing, the tobacco leaves have all their potential locked inside. It is through patient and vigilant handling that the tobacco leaves are brought to the desired result. Triple Fermentation is a process by which the tobacco is brought up to temperature three separate times. This is imperative in making the Cain Cigar because of the mission to make a straight Ligero cigar that is also a puro Nicaraguan. The Cain Ligero tobacco can take sustained temperature as a result of its thicker character. Through this careful process, the Cain brings out all of the deepest richest flavors of the Ligeros. This also allows the Cain to smooth the jagged delivery of flavors into a full body yet smooth finish. The Cain cigar begins mellow and flavorful and builds into a spicy, bold cigar with a slightly sweet finish reminiscent of caramel.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to experience the Cain cigars because they are flying off the shelves just as fast as the NUB and Oliva V cigars do or faster. Then you will see why they call it Strong, Complex, and smooth.
