The dark, oily, rich wrapper is the most striking feature of Alec Bradley’s latest introduction and produces most of its flavor. The Prensado, Spanish for box-pressed, uses a Honduran/Nicaraguan blend to create Alec Bradley’s strongest and boldest cigar. Like the Tempus and SCR, the Prensado uses Trojes valley leaf, but unlike them, the Prensado uses exclusively upper priming tobacco to convey rich, bold and subtly sweet flavors with a robust, full body and plenty of strength to spare. “It’s definitely a departure for us and signals the new direction the company is taking to spare no expense of time, energy or money to bring only the highest quality smoking experiences to our customers,” Alan Rubin, President of Alec Bradley Cigars.
